We are a Waste Wise and Water Wise school and we encourage parents to reduce the quantity of the following items in your child's morning tea and lunch box; plastic wrap, zip lock bags, chip and biscuit packets, paper, cardboard, tetra packs, aluminium or metal containers and glass.

Woodlupine PS has joined the East Metropolitan Regional Councils School Battery Collection Program. Zinc and metal from batteries are recycled into items like garage doors, street post etc. we encourage you to send in used batteries to put in the battery buckets in each classroom. These are regularly collected for us and this then prevents batteries from going into landfill.

There are also wire cages in the Visitor Car Park on Solandra Way for can collection.
